Shi Yomi district is located in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. It is one of the 25 districts of Arunachal Pradesh and was officially established on 16th November 2018. The district is situated in the western part of the state and is bordered by West Siang district in the east, Upper Subansiri district in the north, and the state of Assam in the south.

Shi Yomi district is known for its picturesque landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The region is inhabited by various indigenous tribes, including the Galo, Memba, and Bokar tribes. The district is characterized by its mountainous terrain, with the mighty Siyom River flowing through it, offering beautiful views and opportunities for adventure tourism.
