Water from nearby hill streams gushed into the crater, providing a natural water source.
The site is one of the seven holy theerthams in Seshagiri hills and holds significant religious importance. It is a popular spot for devotees who believe that visiting Chakra Teertham is equivalent to touching the Lotus Feet of Lord Venkateswara.
