Dhosi Ka Pahad
Dhosi Ka Pahad, also known as Dhosi Hill, is an extinct volcano located at the north-west end of the Aravalli mountain range in southern Haryana. The hill rises 345 to 470 meters from the surrounding land and stands 740 meters above sea level. It is a significant site with historical and religious importance, especially during the Vedic period.
The hill features temples, a pakka pond, ruins of a fort, caves, and a forested area. It is believed that various Rishis (sages) had their ashrams here, contributing to the Vedic scriptures. The hill also has a distinct lava crater, giving it a conical appearance from the top.
