Gabbar Hill
Gabbar Hill is a sacred site located near Ambaji in Banaskantha district, Gujarat. It is believed to be the original seat of Goddess Ambaji and holds immense religious significance. The hill is situated about four kilometers west of Ambaji village and is associated with various mythological legends, including the tonsorial ceremony of Lord Krishna.
Pilgrims visiting the Ambaji Temple often undertake the challenging climb to Gabbar Hill, which consists of 300 stone steps followed by a narrow and steep path leading to the summit. At the top, there is a small niche facing the Ambaji Temple, where a continuously burning lamp is kept, visible from the temple at night.
