Legend has it that nearly a thousand years ago, a farmer discovered a Murti of Lord Ganesh adorned with a crown, golden anklets, and kundals in the bushes near Hathel. A dispute arose among the villages of Koth, Rojka, and Vankutas over who would take the idol.
To resolve the matter, the Murti was placed in a cart without an ox, and miraculously, it moved on its own, stopping at Ganpatpura, marking the beginning of the pilgrimage.
Visitors can participate in various rituals, including dedicated Prasad distribution. The temple is well-connected to major transport hubs, with Ahmedabad Airport 75 km away and Ahmedabad Railway Station 64 km away.
