The Gopi Talav Theertham, also known as Gopi Talav, is a sacred pond located in Samlasar village, near Dwarka in Devbhoomi Dwarka district, Gujarat. According to Hindu mythology, this pond is where the Gopis performed their last Raas Leela with Lord Krishna.
When Lord Krishna moved to Dwarka, the Gopis of Vrindavan could not bear the separation and came to visit him one last time. After the final Raas Leela, they offered their lives to the soil of this land and attained moksha (salvation).
