Hibiscus Garden
Hibiscus Garden, also known as the Rose Garden, is a beautiful and well-maintained garden located in Sector 36, Chandigarh. It was established in 1974 by Dr. M.S. Randhawa, the Chief Commissioner of the city at that time, and has since been a significant part of Chandigarh's transformation into the "City of Gardens."
The garden covers an area of 8 acres and features over 40 varieties of Hibiscus shrubs, along with bamboo plants that change color throughout the year.
Visitors to the garden can enjoy the vibrant colors and sweet fragrance of the hibiscus flowers as they stroll along the well-kept pathways. The garden also provides benches and seating areas where people can relax, meditate, or simply admire the natural beauty around them.
It's a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts, picnickers, and anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
