Imam Zamin's Tomb is a serene mausoleum located within the iconic Qutb Minar complex in South Delhi, Delhi. Built between 1537 and 1538 during the reign of Mughal Emperor Humayun, the tomb houses the remains of Imam Zamin, a revered Islamic cleric who migrated from Turkestan to Delhi during Sultan Sikandar Lodi's rule. He later became the chief priest of the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque.
The tomb is a fine example of Lodhi-era architecture, featuring a square structure with an octagonal base, sandstone walls, and a graceful dome. Intricate perforated screens (jalis) adorn the structure, allowing light and air to filter through, creating a tranquil atmosphere.
The interior is finished with polished white plaster, and the cenotaph is made of marble.
