Khanderao Market, located in Vadodara, Gujarat, is a historic and palatial commercial building. It was constructed by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1906-07 as a gift to the city municipality to mark the silver jubilee of his administration. The market is named after his predecessor and adoptive father, Khanderao Gaekwad, Maharaja of Baroda (1856-1870).
The building is an excellent example of Indo-Saracenic architecture, designed by the English architect Robert Chisholm. It features a large central dome, perforated stone screens, and a blend of Hindu and Islamic architectural elements. The market houses the offices of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation, a vegetable and flower market, and various shops.
