The structure is notable for its E-shaped design, featuring terraces, balconies, domes, and a central shikhara that rises approximately 35 meters.
The interiors are adorned with murals by the renowned artist Nandalal Bose, depicting themes like the Gangavataran, the Life of Meera, and the Battle of Mahabharata. The temple also houses statues and photographs of the Gaekwad family, making it a significant cultural and historical landmark.
