Lothian Island Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, within the Sundarbans Biosphere Reserve. The sanctuary covers an area of approximately 38 square kilometers and is characterized by its tropical wetland forest, dominated by mangrove vegetation.
