Satmaliya Deer Park, also known as Satmalia Deer Sanctuary, is a beautiful wildlife sanctuary located near Khanvel in Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Spread over an area of 153 hectares, the park is home to a variety of antelope species, including Chital, Nilgai, Sambar, Chinkara, and Blackbuck.
Visitors to the park can enjoy spotting these graceful animals as they roam freely in their natural habitat. The park also features a machan (watchtower) near a waterhole, offering an incredible panoramic view of the sanctuary and the nearby Madhuban Dam.
The best time to visit is during the early morning hours when the animals are most active. The park is open from 7 am to 11 am in the morning and 3 pm to 6 pm in the evening. An entry fee of Rs. 25 is charged for Indian nationals and Rs. 100 for foreign nationals.
