Fatehabad is a district located in the state of Haryana, India. It is situated in the western part of Haryana and is bordered by the districts of Hisar, Sirsa, and Bhiwani. The district covers an area of approximately 2,538 square kilometers.
The district headquarters of Fatehabad is the town of Fatehabad itself. The town has historical significance as it was founded by Firoz Shah Tughlaq, a ruler of the Tughlaq dynasty, in the 14th century. The name "Fatehabad" translates to "the city of victory."
