District Fatehpur is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated in the central part of the state and falls under the administrative division of Allahabad. The district headquarters is in the city of Fatehpur. Fatehpur district covers an area of approximately 4,152 square kilometers and is bordered by the districts of Kanpur Dehat to the north, Kaushambi to the west, and Pratapgarh to the south. The Ganga River forms the eastern boundary of the district.
