Kulgam is a district located in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated in the southwestern part of the Kashmir Valley and is known for its scenic beauty.
The district is bordered by the districts of Anantnag to the east, Shopian to the north, and Islamabad (Anantnag) to the west.
