Mamit is a district located in the northeastern state of Mizoram, India. It is situated in the western part of Mizoram and shares borders with the neighboring state of Tripura as well as Bangladesh. The district headquarters of Mamit is the town of Mamit.
Mamit district is known for its picturesque landscapes, lush green forests, and beautiful hills. The region is predominantly inhabited by various indigenous tribes, including the Mizo people who are the majority population in Mizoram.
