West Sikkim is a district located in the Indian state of Sikkim. It is situated in the western part of Sikkim and shares borders with Nepal to the west and the districts of North Sikkim and South Sikkim to the north and south, respectively. West Sikkim is home to several prominent tourist destinations, including Pelling, Yuksom, and Ravangla. Pelling is a popular hill station and offers breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga mountain range. Yuksom is historically significant as it served as the first capital of Sikkim and is the base for many treks and expeditions.
