The Futi Masjid, also known as the Fauti Mosque, is a historic mosque located in Kumarpur, Murshidabad district, West Bengal. Built in 1740 AD by Nawab Sarfaraz Khan, it is one of the largest mosques in the area. The mosque is known for its impressive architecture, featuring five domes and four spiral staircases at its corners, although the domes remain incomplete.
Unfortunately, the mosque is currently in ruins and has been overgrown by vegetation. Despite its state, it remains a significant historical site and is situated about three-quarters of a mile from the famous Hazarduari Palace.
