Dadra and Nagar Haveli is a union territory located in western India. It is situated between the states of Gujarat and Maharashtra, and consists of two separate geographical entities, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. 

Dadra is a small enclave situated on the northwestern tip of the territory, surrounded by Gujarat. It is located at a distance of approximately 30 km from the city of Vapi. Nagar Haveli, on the other hand, is a larger area located in the southeastern part of the territory, bordered by Maharashtra. The capital city of Dadra and Nagar Haveli is Silvassa, which is located in Nagar Haveli.

The population of Dadra and Nagar Haveli is predominantly tribal, with a significant number of people belonging to the Warli, Kokna, and Dhodia communities. The territory is known for its rich cultural heritage, and is home to a number of tribal festivals, such as the Bhagoria Festival, which is celebrated by the Bhil and Bhilala communities. 

The economy of Dadra and Nagar Haveli is largely dependent on manufacturing industries such as plastics, textiles, and chemicals. The territory is also known for its production of mangoes and cashew nuts. Tourism is another important industry in the region, with visitors attracted to its scenic beauty and cultural heritage.
