Devbhoomi Dwarka district is a district in the state of Gujarat, India. Located in the western part of the country, it is named after the ancient city of Dwarka, which is believed to be the dwelling place of Lord Krishna in Hindu mythology.
The district of Devbhoomi Dwarka was formed on August 15, 2013, after being carved out from the Jamnagar district. It is spread over an area of approximately 5,684 square kilometers and is bordered by the Arabian Sea on the west.
