New Delhi is a district located in the national capital territory of Delhi, India. It is the administrative capital of India and houses many important government buildings, including the Parliament of India and the Rashtrapati Bhavan, which is the official residence of the President of India.
The New Delhi district covers an area of approximately 43 square kilometers and is surrounded by other districts of Delhi. It is divided into three subdivisions: Chanakyapuri, Connaught Place, and Parliament Street. The district has a population of over 200,000 people, according to the 2011 census.
