Sant Kabir Nagar district is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is named after the famous poet and saint, Kabir Das. The district was formed on September 5, 1997, and its administrative headquarters is in the town of Khalilabad. Sant Kabir Nagar is situated in the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh, bordering the districts of Basti and Siddharthnagar. The district covers an area of approximately 1,606 square kilometers and is divided into three tehsils: Khalilabad, Mehdawal, and Dhanghata.
