Dadra and Nagar Haveli is a Union Territory in western India, situated between the states of Gujarat and Maharashtra. It is composed of two separate geographical entities, the districts of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

The territory was ruled by the Portuguese until 1954, when it was merged with India. Dadra and Nagar Haveli is known for its scenic beauty, with lush forests, rolling hills, and meandering rivers. It is also home to several indigenous tribes, including the Dhodia, Kokna, and Varli tribes.
