Amar Kutir is a cultural haven located in Shantiniketan, Bolpur, in the Birbhum district of West Bengal. It was established in 1922 by Sushen Mukherjee, inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and Rabindranath Tagore. Initially a refuge for freedom fighters, Amar Kutir has evolved into a cooperative society promoting arts and crafts.

The complex is situated on the picturesque banks of the Kopai River and offers a serene environment. Visitors can explore a variety of handcrafted items, including sarees, kurtas, home decor, and bags. The artisans here use traditional techniques to create beautiful and unique products.
