The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Bhuj, Kachchh (Kutch), Gujarat, is a magnificent temple known for its stunning architecture and spiritual significance. The temple was constructed using traditional Vedic architectural methods and is made primarily of pure marble. It features seven sky-touching pinnacles, one central dome, 25 minor domes, and 258 intricately carved pillars.
The original temple was severely damaged during the Gujarat earthquake in 2001, but the divine idols remained unscathed. The new temple, built on the banks of Hamirsar Lake, took seven years to complete and was inaugurated in 2010. The temple complex also includes a 3D film depicting the life of Lord Shri Swaminarayan, adding to the spiritual experience.
