The Baba Banda Singh Bahadur War Memorial is actually located in Mohali, Punjab, not Chandigarh. This memorial is a tribute to the brave Sikh warrior Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, who led the Sikhs to victory in the Battle of Chappar Chiri against the Mughal forces in 1710.

The memorial is situated on a plot of about 20 acres in Sector 93, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali).

The design of the memorial recreates the battlefield of Chappar Chiri, with mounds and sand dunes representing the original terrain. The highlight of the memorial is the Fateh Burj, a victory tower standing at 328 feet tall, making it the tallest victory tower in India. The tower features a Sikh dome with a Khanda and a Kalash on top.

The memorial also includes statues of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur and his five generals, sculpted by renowned Indian sculptor Prabhat Rai.
