Fateh Sagar Lake is an artificial lake located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, named after Maharana Fateh Singh of Udaipur and Mewar. Constructed in the 1680s, it lies to the north of Lake Pichola and is one of the four major lakes in Udaipur.
The lake is surrounded by the Aravalli hills on three sides, creating a picturesque landscape often referred to as "the second Kashmir".
The lake features three small islands: Nehru Park, which is a popular tourist attraction; a public park with an impressive water-jet fountain; and the Udaipur Solar Observatory. Visitors can explore these islands by taking a boat ride from the City Palace jetty.
