The Grizzled Squirrel Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as Srivilliputhur Wildlife Sanctuary, is located mainly in Virudhunagar district and partly in Madurai district, Tamil Nadu. Established in 1988, it covers around 485 square kilometers in the Eastern slopes of the Western Ghats. The sanctuary protects the near-threatened grizzled giant squirrel and offers diverse habitats including grasslands, wet evergreen forests, semi-evergreen, and deciduous forests.
