Haji Pir Dargah
The Haji Pir Dargah is located in the Kachchh (Kutch) district of Gujarat. It is dedicated to a Muslim saint named Haji Pir, also known as Zinda Pir or Vali Pir. According to local beliefs, Haji Pir was a soldier in the army of Shahabuddin Muhammad Ghauri. After leaving the service, he settled in the village of Nara and became known for saving cows from dacoits.
He performed the Hajj pilgrimage, which is how he earned the title "Haji".
The dargah is a popular pilgrimage site, and an annual fair is organized on the first Monday of Chaitra month (April). Devotees from all over Gujarat visit the shrine, and it's also common for visitors to go to the nearby Karol Pir Dargah.
