Hare Island, also known as Muyal Theevu or Raja Theevu, is located near Thoothukudi (Tuticorin) in Tamil Nadu. The island covers an area of 1.29 square kilometers and is the largest island in the Gulf of Mannar. It forms part of the Gulf of Mannar Marine National Park, which consists of 21 small islands.
