Jhilmil Gufa is a natural cave located in the Rajaji National Park near Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. It is situated on the Manikoot Mountains, about 35 km by road from Rishikesh and 16 km by an uphill trek through Rajaji National Park from Ram Jhula.
The cave is at an elevation of 1,400 meters from sea level and offers stunning views of the Rishikesh valley and the Ganges River. The cave is dedicated to the supreme devotee of Lord Shiva, Baba Gorakhnath, and is believed to be a place where he performed austerities.
Inside the cave, you can find statues of Baba Gorakhnath and Lord Shiva with snakes. The trek to Jhilmil Gufa is a popular adventure activity, providing a mix of natural beauty and spiritual significance.
