Kalhatti Falls, also known as Bird Watcher's Falls, is a beautiful waterfall located about 13 kilometers from Ooty in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu. Situated at an elevation of approximately 1,600 meters (5,200 feet) on the Sigur Plateau, the falls are surrounded by lush greenery and undulating hills.
Visitors can reach the falls by trekking for about 3 kilometers from the Kalhatti village. The trek offers a chance to spot various bird species, wild animals like deer, wild buffalo, and sambhar, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Western Ghats.
