Kalyanapu Lova Reservoir
The Kalyanapulova Reservoir is a serene and less-known tourist spot near Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Situated about 80 km from Visakhapatnam and 24 km north of Narsipatnam, this reservoir is surrounded by hills on three sides, providing a picturesque view.
The reservoir was built as an irrigation project and supports the agricultural needs of the Ravikamatham, Rolugunta, and Kothakota Mandals. It's a popular spot for picnics, photography, and nature walks. During the festival of Shivaratri, the reservoir attracts a large number of pilgrims who visit the nearby Sri Kalyana Pothuraju Babu Temple and take a holy dip in the reservoir.
The area also features a waterfall called Bommallam Jona Waterfall, located about 2-3 km from the dam. The peaceful environment and lush greenery make it an ideal spot for a weekend getaway.
