Kalyani Devi Temple, located in the Kalyani Devi area of Allahabad (Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh, is a revered Hindu temple and one of the 51 Shaktipeethas in India. It is believed that three fingers of Goddess Sati fell here while Lord Shiva was carrying her corpse. The temple is also known as Mahashakthi Siddhpeeth and is among the must-visit places of pilgrimage in Allahabad.
The present temple was constructed in 1883, but the idols of the goddess are believed to be around 1500 years old. The temple houses three deities of Mother Goddess in the form of three fingers of Mother Sati: Kalyani Devi in the center, Chinnamasta Devi on the left, and Shankar Parvati on the right. There are also idols of Lord Rama, Lakshman, Sita, and Radha Krishna.
