Khooni Khan Jheel, also known as Khooni Jheel, is a small water body located in the Kamla Nehru Ridge area of North Delhi. Despite its serene appearance, the lake has a dark history and is often referred to as a "bloody lake" due to its association with historical tragedies, particularly the events of the 1857 revolt.

During the revolt, many people, including sepoys and British women and children, were killed and their bodies were dumped into the lake, giving it its ominous name. Over the years, the lake has been the site of several drowning incidents, and it is now surrounded by thick vegetation and iron wires to prevent people from entering the water.

The lake is at least 6 meters deep and has a greenish layer on its surface. Despite its dark past, the area around the lake has been developed into a well-maintained park, attracting visitors who come to enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility of the surroundings.
