Mulkila is the highest peak in the Lahaul-Spiti region, standing at an impressive 6,517 meters (21,380 feet). It is part of the 'M' series of peaks in the Indian Himalayas, and although it is the highest among them, it was designated as M4 when the region was first surveyed.
The first successful ascent of Mulkila was made in 1939 by an Anglo-Austrian expedition. The climb involves navigating through steep valleys, snow-covered slopes, and rocky terrains, providing a thrilling adventure for mountaineers.
Mulkila is located in Lahaul and Spiti, Himachal Pradesh.
