The Museum of Social History and Rural Life of Punjab is located on the campus of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana. It was inaugurated by the renowned writer Khushwant Singh in 19741.

The museum is designed to resemble an 18th-century house, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and rural life of Punjab.

The museum features a variety of exhibits, including phulkari (embroidered textiles), traditional costumes, agricultural implements, musical instruments, and archaeological artifacts. It provides a fascinating glimpse into the socio-economic and religious life of ancient Punjab.
