Nanda Kot is a majestic mountain peak located in the Kumaon Himalayas of Uttarakhand, standing at an elevation of approximately 6,861 meters (22,510 feet) above sea level.

The name "Nanda Kot" translates to "Naked Peak" in Hindi, owing to its bare and rugged appearance. It is part of the Greater Himalayan Range and is considered sacred in Hindu mythology, associated with the goddess Nanda Devi.

The first successful ascent of Nanda Kot was made in 1947 by an Anglo-American expedition led by Noel Odell. The mountain is a popular destination for trekkers and mountaineers, offering challenging routes and breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape.
