National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bhubaneswar (NIFT Bhubaneswar) is a government‑run campus of India’s NIFT network, set up in 2010 under the Ministry of Textiles in the Khordha district of Odisha, near the capital city of Bhubaneswar.
It began operating from a temporary site at Jatni and later moved to its own permanent campus in the Chandaka Industrial Estate, with strong support and funding from the Government of Odisha.
The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in fashion and design, including B.Des specialisations such as Fashion Design, Textile Design, Lifestyle Accessory Design, and Fashion Communication, along with Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.FTech) and Master of Fashion Management (MFM).
Admission is entrance‑based through the NIFT exam, and the campus combines studio‑based learning, workshops, and industry‑linked projects to prepare students for careers in fashion design, textiles, retail, and management within India’s growing fashion and lifestyle sector.
