The National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh (NIT Andhra Pradesh or NIT-ANP), located in Tadepalligudem, West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, is the youngest public technical institute among India's 31 NITs, established in 2015 as an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education.
Situated on a 172.6-acre permanent campus adjacent to National Highway 16 near Kadakatla, it transitioned from temporary facilities at Sri Vasavi Engineering College and now offers modern academic buildings, hostels, labs, library, and sports amenities designed for an environment-friendly learning atmosphere.
NIT Andhra Pradesh provides undergraduate BTech programs across eight engineering branches like computer science, electronics, electrical, mechanical, civil, chemical, materials science, and bioengineering via JEE Main and JoSAA, alongside postgraduate MTech, MS by Research, and PhD options through GATE and CCMT, with mentorship from NIT Warangal.
