The sanctuary hosts a rich variety of over 280 plant species, 130 bird species including Indian roller and crested serpent eagle, and more than 20 mammal species such as wolves, jackals, hyenas, common foxes, jungle cats, and blue bulls. A centrally located watchtower offers panoramic views of the sanctuary, including two streams that provide essential water to the dry landscape.
