Ratanpur Fort, located in the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh, is a historical treasure that dates back to the 11th century. Built by the Kalchuri dynasty, this fort has witnessed numerous battles and has been a significant political and military center over the centuries. The fort's architecture is a testament to the engineering skills of the time, featuring robust walls, strategic bastions, and intricate carvings.

The fort is designed in the shape of an irregular octagonal star and is surrounded by a strong wall with two main entrances. One of the notable features of the fort is the five-storeyed main gate, which is flanked by two towers.
