The Regional Science Center (RSC) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, is a fascinating destination for science enthusiasts of all ages. Located on Banganga Road in Shyamla Hills, the center was inaugurated on January 12, 1995, by the then President of India, Shankar Dayal Sharma. It is one of the 25 constituent units of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), which operates under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

The RSC aims to popularize science and technology among the public, with a special focus on students. The center features over 266 interactive science exhibits that cover a wide range of scientific disciplines. Visitors can explore galleries such as the Hall of Energy, which highlights different forms of energy, and the Atmosphere Gallery, which emphasizes the importance of the atmosphere.

In addition to indoor galleries, the RSC boasts a Science Park spread over 3 acres, containing over 60 exhibits like pulley demonstrations, windmills, and solar-powered devices. The center also houses a miniature planetarium with a seating capacity of 25 people, offering shows about stars, constellations, and zodiacs.
