The Shahi Bauli Stepwell, also known as the Royal Stepwell, is a historic water reservoir located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Constructed between 1784 and 1794 under the reign of Nawab Asif-ud-Daula, the stepwell was built adjacent to the Bara Imambara to provide food and water to the people of Awadh during a severe famine.
