The hill is known for its Taranga Jain Temple, which is dedicated to the second Jain Tirthankara, Ajitnath. The temple was constructed in the 12th century under the patronage of the Solanki king Kumarpala, with guidance from the Jain scholar Hemachandracharya.
The hill itself is a three-peaked formation and is surrounded by lush greenery and dense forests. The trek to the hilltop involves climbing nearly 700 steps, offering a rewarding view of the surrounding landscape. Along the path, visitors can see smaller shrines dedicated to Buddhist goddesses and ancient sculptures, including a carved figurine of Dhyani Buddha.
