The Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Banjar sub-division of Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. Established in 1984 and covering an area of 1,171 square kilometers, the park lies at elevations ranging from 1,500 to 6,000 meters. GHNP is renowned for its rich biodiversity, with over 375 faunal species, including 31 mammals and 181 birds, as well as a variety of flora.
