The Watson Museum is located in the Jubilee Garden in Rajkot, Gujarat. It was established in 1888 and named after Colonel John Watson, a British political agent of Kathiawar Agency from 1881 to 1889. The museum is one of the best among the seven such museums in the Saurashtra region and is managed by the Gujarat state government.
The museum houses a diverse collection of artifacts, including sculptures, coins, manuscripts, textiles, inscriptions, and natural history specimens. It also features an extensive collection of items from the Indus Valley Civilization and artifacts from the princely state of Rajkot.
