The Zemu Gap Peak, also known as Zemu Peak, is a prominent peak in the Himalayas, located in North Sikkim, Sikkim, India. It stands at an elevation of 7,780 meters (25,520 feet) and is part of a high ridge running east of the south summit of Kangchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world.
Zemu Gap Peak is notable for being one of the highest unclimbed named peaks in the world. The saddle of the Zemu Gap, at 5,861 meters (19,229 feet), was successfully ascended for the first time in 2011 by an Indian expedition team.
The peak itself remains unclimbed due to its remoteness and challenging approach.
