Bhojpur is a district located in the state of Bihar, India. It is situated in the central part of the state and is bordered by the districts of Patna to the north, Rohtas to the west, Buxar to the south, and Ara to the east. The district has an area of approximately 2,395 square kilometers.
The administrative headquarters of Bhojpur district is the town of Ara, which is also its largest city. Ara is an important commercial and educational center in the region. Other major towns in the district include Jagdishpur, Piro, Bihiya, and Shahpur.
