East Singhbhum is a district located in the state of Jharkhand, India. It is situated in the southern part of the state and is known for its rich mineral resources and industrial development. The district headquarters is in Jamshedpur, which is also known as the "Steel City" due to the presence of major steel plants.

East Singhbhum shares its borders with West Bengal in the east, Seraikela Kharsawan district in the west, and Mayurbhanj and Kendujhar districts of Odisha in the south. The Subarnarekha River flows through the district, adding to its natural beauty.
